I am a Functional Nutrition & Lifestyle Practitioner and Certified Holistic Health Coach, helping people understand what is going on inside their bodies, and working with diet and lifestyle to eliminate and improve chronic health symptoms.

Health has long been a passion of mine. Fifteen years ago, I joined IBM’s global health and wellness team.  I traveled the world learning and working with local IBM teams to make improvements.  I also collaborated with peers at other corporations to introduce health coverage for HIV/AIDS in India, and in 2010 was invited to represent U.S. employers at the International Labor Organizations International Labor Conference in Geneva, Switzerland, to help craft the first ever guidelines on the treatment of HIV/AIDS in the workplace.

My drive to help people using food began ten years ago. My aunt and father had both been diagnosed with late stage cancers within 18 months of each other, all while starting my family.  During this time, I began suffering from insomnia and anxiety. In an effort to take some kind of control over this situation, I started reading about cancer and learning about what feeds and aids it growth.  From my research it quickly became clear that food has the power to both harm and heal us.

Although I was working full time in the corporate world, I became certified as a holistic health coach by the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and certified as a Functional Nutrition & Lifestyle Practitioner by Functional Nutrition Lab, and started coaching.  It wasn’t until I made changes to my diet to address my body’s stress response that I started to feel better.

By partnering with physicians and educating clients, I can recommend diet and lifestyle changes to mitigate and improve health outcomes and reduce medications.

I'm only able to help because I've been there myself; experiencing the effects of stress and grief in physical ways that I was only able to mitigate by making changes to diet and lifestyle. I know how hard it is to make those changes and can offer you support and persistence to help you feel better when nothing else has.
